LIFE SKILLS TRAINING

A good relationship between colleagues and bosses is the most important element in guaranteeing a good working environment.

To achieve this it is necessary to develop life skills that allow them to face situations that arise in daily life. 

Therefore, we created workshops to contribute to the development of topics such as: assertive communication by a social worker (04/25/19), teamwork by Comfenalco (05/17/19), emotion management (by a worker social – 08/16/19), perseverance (by sst advisor – 05/10/19). Self-care with families in charge of social work (03/29/2019).

WORKING IN HEIGHTS, CERTIFICATION

Annually, the company dictates a work course at heights to staff, in order to prevent accidents that endanger the well-being and lives of employees.

In October 2017, the CSR program was socialized with the employees, where they are explained what it consists of and how it is managed in the company. Terms are clarified and doubts are resolved.

CELEBRATION OF SPECIAL DATES

in December an integration between employees and their families is celebrated, a lunch is shared and children under 12 are offered a Christmas gift.


As of June 2020, the company’s birthday celebration was implemented. The celebration that takes place at the end of each month, a snack is shared with the employees, and those who have their birthday that month are given a “cup” with the company’s logo and special gifts inside.

FIRST AID TRAINING

Training in first aid is of great importance for immediate attention to work accidents, for this reason the company has a group of people, who are being trained annually to deal with such situations when they arise.

In 2019, the training was provided by the external advisor Jhon Gómez, for this year it will be carried out with the private company Asitar on October 17, 2020.

COOPAST ELECTION

Copasst, the joint committee on occupational health and safety, in charge of promoting, preventing, and monitoring the occupational safety and health management system, is a group made up of employee representatives.

They train and are in charge of ensuring the safety and health of all personnel and accompanying the process of investigation of work accidents.

ELECTION OF THE COEXISTENCE COMMITEE

The company has a labor coexistence committee, which is in charge of handling and processing cases of workplace harassment that arise in the company. It is made up of representatives of the employees and representatives of the administrative area. 

On a regular basis, talks are made to employees about workplace harassment, how the committee works and the conduct to follow to file complaints and claims in relation to this issue.

INTEGRATION OF EMPLOYEES 2019

Employees are offered a leisure or recreation space in the company of their families in a recreational park, offered as a benefit of the Comfenalco compensation fund, in which they can enjoy all the spaces that the park offers, with the expenses fully assumed by the company and the compensation fund.
