FOUNDER AND MANAGERIAL DIRECTOR

Founded Morocota Gold S.A.S in 2009. Electrical Engineer B.Sc. from the Universidad Simón Bolivar in Caracas and MBA from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. With over 30 years of experience in international equity markets, holding executive positions in Merril Lynch, Paine Webber and UBS. Founded Athena Partners Group in 2006, a financial advisory boutique based in Panama City.

DIRECTOR

Graduate of Economics and Business from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 1978. 36 years of experience in the financial sector. Worked in Banco Exterior de España, Argentaria in Madrid and México DF,  BBVA in Buenos Aires and Banco Santander in México DF. (2001-2010). Has been working as a counselor and outside director in some businesses in different sectors in Spain, Mexico, Panama and Colombia since 2010.

DIRECTOR

Business Management graduate with a Babson College MBA and a University of Toronto Rotman School of Management Directors Education Program. With 30 years of experience holding top management positions in several multinational corporations.
Founder and CEO of a distributor of Latin American products in Canada since 2014.

DIRECTOR

Independent entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience in developing real estate projects, cattle ranching and agricultural businesses. Graduated in Business Administration from the Metropolitan University in Caracas, Venezuela.

Managerial Team

GENERAL MANAGER

Lawyer from the Universidad Autónoma Latinoamericana in Medellín. 34 years of experience practicing law and 12 years as a business manager. Mining Law Professor at EIA University and General Manager at Morocota Gold S.A.S since 2012.

HEAD OF GEOLOGY

33 years of experience as a independent Professional Geologist in Gold, Copper, Diamond, Uranium, Iron and Silver explorations in 10 countries, from North and South America and Asia. Experience in development of underground narro high-grade mines.
